TOURNAMENT INFO
For the past 12 years HAFC have been running summer small-sided tournaments as a celebration of the season past and a football fix for those who miss it so much through the holiday period.
Over the past 6 years, under the guidance of tournament chairman Steve Dowding, the tournament has grown into a monster success with an average of 400 teams attending over the 4 day event (split accross two weekends).
The 2010 event was no exception with teams travelling considerable distances to be part of what is now a widely known and respected tournament. Every detail is catered for from adequate off-street parking and entertainment for non playing children to qualified officials for every game and great support from club committee members so you, your team and their family can be guaranteed a great day out.
So what's in-store for 2011. To be honest, we're not sure yet, the tournament takes a lot of preperation and a huge amount of work from everyone involved and a few of our 'Tournie Team' are feeling the strain of the last 6 years. If we can get enough volunteers then we will definitely be running the tournament next year so.....watch this space!
