VOLUNTEER AWARD NOMINATION
Hawkwell Athletic has been shortlisted for the "High Sheriffs Essex Volunteer Centres award".
Representatives from the club will be attending the presentation by the High Sheriff of Essex Rupert Gosling. The event is being held on March 10th at the The Fennes Estate, Fennes Road, Bocking, Braintree, Essex, CM7 5PL

The club was nominated by Geoff Smith and is in recognition of Volunteer groups who have made an outstanding contribution in their local community. This is awarded to the voluntary organisation that demonstrates the best use of good practice providing encouragement and support, training and supervision and thus generating the happiest volunteers.
The High Sheriff is the Queens representative for Law and Order in Essex.
