HAFC stalwart Rick Webb has been Shortlisted for the "Services to Sport" Award. This is a well deserved recognition for Rick who has been with the club for more years than he cares to remember (actually it's 34 years). This is the 4th year running that Hawkwell members have been shortlisted for this award.
The awards evening weill be held on Thursday October 13th at the Mill Hall in Rayleigh. Olympic badminton player Gail Emms will be the guest sporting star at this year’s sports awards. Gail is best known for winning an Olympic badminton Silver medal at the 2004 Games with Nathan Robertson.
