'VOLUNTEERS CAN MAKE OR BREAK A GRASS ROOTS FOOTBALL CLUB'
Hawkwell Athletic Football Club are extremely proud at the level of coaching and general football activities we offer the local community in and arround Hockley & Hawkwell.
Every one of our people are volnteers and do not get paid a single penny for the work and effort they put in to running the football club.
HAFC make it a priority that every coach has a learning path available to them which starts with the mandatory FA Level 1 course in coaching football. This course includes basic Emergency Aid, a Safeguarding Chidren workshop and the provision of a valid CRB certificate. From here they are able to participate in a number of additional learning activities. If they are ambitious enough and dedicated enough, HAFC will fund them through to their Full UEFA licence qualification.
